Step-by-step instructions for installing Jambalom Grand Cimbalom
Installation Guide
Jambalom Grand Cimbalom was released in association with Native Instruments to maximise compatibility across all systems and DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations).
After purchase, first download Native Access from this link: Native Access.
Native Access makes it easy to authorise, download, and install any Native Instruments or associated products. You need to register a free account with Native Instruments if you don't already have one.
After you have installed Native Access and logged into your account, you will see either Kontakt 7 Player or Kontakt 8 Player or both available to install depending on your operating system. The minimum system requirements are MacOS 11 or higher or Windows 10 or higher. This is because Jambalom Grand Cimbalom runs on Kontakt 7.6 or Kontakt Player 7.6 or higher as it features NKS2 (Native Kontrol Standard).
If you own the full version of Kontakt, please ensure it is version 7.6 or higher. You need to click '+ Add Serial' at the bottom left section of Native Access and enter the Serial Number you received via email after your purchase.
Once added, Jambalom Grand Cimbalom will appear in the 'Available' list for installation. You can use it with standalone Kontakt or Kontakt Player, or in any DAW compatible with the plugin versions: VST, VST3, AU, and AAX (native Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows.
